History by Gil Hoffman:

In 1890 F. T. Whited and H. H. Wheless formed the partnership of Whited & Wheless, Ltd., and entered into the lumber business at Shreveport, LA with a yard and planing mill. In 1894 the company built a sawmill at Alden Bridge, LA. In September 1908 the company was merged into the Frost-Johnson Lumber Company, with the mill at Alden Bridge continuing operation under the new name.

 Alden Bridge was on the Cotton Belt about 16 miles north of Bossier City.
