HISTORY:

The Port Bienville Railroad was built in 1973 by the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission to connect a large industrial park at Port Bienville to the Louisville & Nashville Railroad (later CSX) at Ansley, MS. 

Port Bienville Railroad #1 at Port Bienville, MS on 7-25-1975. The GE 45-tonner was c/n 13001, and was built as U.S. Army 7322 in April 1943.
