Foley was the location of the large sawmill of J. M. Foley. It was sold to the J. M. Hemphill Lumber Co. in 1908 and operated until 1914. The location was also called Hemphill. INDUSTRY - J. M. Foley ??-1908 J. M. Hemphill Lumber Co. 1908-1914
