HISTORY by Tony Howe:
McPherson was the name given by the railroad to the location that Gilchrist-Fordney Co.'s logging railroad connected and ran westward several miles. Log trains were run over the GM&N from here to the company's sawmill at Laurel. INDUSTRY (per Dun & Bradstreet)- |
